3 S U M M A R Y My training and work in multiple countries have given me broad tools and experience necessary to do valuable work in a variety of organizations and to help designing solutions for real-world problems. During grad school I volunteered in the non profit organization Techo and worked with at-risk communities. As a part of the directorial team in the Cordoba chapter I developed strong team-work and leadership skills and I found myself comfortable in a hands-on management role. The Experimental Center of Affordable Housing (CEVE-AVE) works as a Unit from Argentina s National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). As a Project Manager, I learned about construction management, budgeting and negotiation. At EPA Arquitectos I was able to be more active in the design stages and participate in highly creative projects. I learned about management in the private sector (both residential and commercial) and I had a more involved relationship with the clients. Founding Diana Pauro Design has given me the freedom to travel around the continent and learn from new challenges. I enjoy implementing new technologies and I believe in working hard and fully committing to collaborative efforts to insure the best outcome in every project. My current work in the NEDC follows the fast growing pace of an award-winning design build company. My position as a Design Director and Designer gave me the opportunity to lead all design phases througout construction administration and help numerous families remodel, extend and adjust their homes to their needs and dreams.

9 _Casa C-W 2014 Diana Pauro Design Los reartes, Argentina. Managed all phases from design to project management. This single family residence is located in a gated community the Calamuchita Valley. The construction was planned in different phases. The house has a passive heating system and a rainwater and grey waters treatment system.

10 _Cafe Aquiles EPA arquitectos Cordoba, Argentina. Aquiles Cafe is a successful design-oriented co-op coffee shopp, started by Grupo DIN, the National Idependent Design community. The store wanted to be able to provide working space for students and young professional and to have a strong and minimalistic identity.

11 _Ideas Competition Rehabilitacion de los Molinos ex Rio de la Plata. Cordoba. Argentina. Cultural Center and Housing Project. This Project is located in Cordoba City s downtown. The location is the former Rio de la Plata Grain MIlls. It was connected to the General Belgrano Railroad. The remaining buildings are renovated for Affordable Housing Apartments and Office Units, while the first level will offer retail space and food court. The basement is settled to have a the La Lurcienaga Magazine (Sociallly involved project that employes homeless and at-risk young people). The Grain Silles will host vertical rooms for the Contemporary Art Regional Museum. The new building is the new branch of the Cordoba Public Library.

12 _Sports Center Revalorizacion del Rio Suquia FAUD UNC Structure designed with innovating prefabricated elements. The argentinian Industry has a very slow growing market for prefabricated systems due to the low level of guvernamental investment on this industries and the strong culture of in-situ concrete construction. This projects aim to show how the prefabricated systems can be more cost effective in institutional buildings and how much the carbon footprint is lowered with it. This project was designed as an extension of the landscape competition with the structure and architectural workshops of the School of Architecture in Cordoba.

13 _THESIS (Final Project) A+ FAUD UNC Migratory Worker Housing: Territorial intervention and im-provement of rural productive Regions in Valle de Lerma, Salta, Argentina. Rehabilitation of adobe structures. Research and How-to Manual for communities. Levels of approach: 1. Territorial, putting on spot the vulnerability of the migratory workers and small farmers. 2. GeoPolitical approach, diagnosting one spe-cific harvest and community, with all the actors and roles, the resources and problematics. 3. Technological. Given that there were available vacant adobe structures I designed a system to renovate them with the resources that the community could reach.
