7 FALL 2017 TRAINING DATES Ministry Mini Retreat and Training Saturday, September am 2pm This is a compulsory training for all current and new ministers. Fr Joseph will conduct the training and contact lists will be updated at that time. 8 Please note: We have a number of empty slots. Additionally, ministers may not attend a Mass they are scheduled, and this leaves no one serving. In the past month, we have had Masses with no altar servers, hospitality, or lectors. In a spirit of collaboration, please check before Mass if help is needed in any of the ministries. This may simply be a problem associated with Alaskan summers!! EMHC & s: Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your ministry. : Please arrive at least 20 minutes early for your ministry. Each Mass minister is responsible to find a replacement if unable to serve at the scheduled time. If you need a member list, please contact the office at Send forward money, water, wine, and paten for processional. Notify the EMOHC of any special needs before mass starts. Serve doughnuts after Mass if a D is next to a name. Place money in correct money bags, sign & date, and place in safe. Do not turn off lights between the morning masses. Put out Bulletins after Communion. Collect all bulletins in the church, pick up trash in the pews, and straighten the missalettes. ***We have only 3 ministers for 5pm Mass. We would appreciate help with this Mass. s First name listed reads the 1 st Reading. Second name reads the 2 nd Reading and the General Intercessions (if no Deacon). The 2 nd reader moves the lectionary under Ambo. 11:30am s move open Lectionary to Font after Mass. Deacon reads the General Intercessions. EMOHC Give Holy Communion to those with special needs last. Rinse and gently ring out the Corporal and the Purificator in the Sacrarium. Hang on the basket to dry after every mass. Do not distribute communion in the social hall at any time. Do not fill pyx unless approved by Fr Joseph. Please ensure that you are modestly dressed and that you act professionally while serving our Lord. Limit the noise and visiting in the Atrium before Mass. Do not congregate in the Sacristy before Mass; the celebrant is preparing for Mass. Thank you for your service!
