AIA Colorado Symposium + AIA10 Awards Gala Friday, June 2, 2017 Denver AIA Colorado is pleased to announce this new and exciting event that will kick-off with a theme of Personal and Community Legacy. Two of our most popular events have now combined for what promises to be a day full of opportunities to interact with members, network and get additional exposure for your company. The event will begin with a half-day symposium featuring renowned speakers from Colorado and across the country. The symposium will be capped off by the AIA10 Awards Gala (formerly called the Young Architects Awards Gala) to celebrate the work of architects licensed 10 years or less, students and associates. Last year s awards gala sold out and 2017 looks to attract over 300 attendees for the gala, hosted at Gensler. This event is being organized by the AIA Colorado Emerging Professionals Committee AIA Colorado & Local Awards Gala Friday, August 18, 2017 Denver Due to the popularity of this annual event, and limited venue space during the Practice + Design Conference, we are pleased to announce that the AIA Colorado and Local Awards Gala will now be held in Downtown Denver this summer. It will be the same great event celebrating the winners of the AIA Colorado Design and Honor Awards as well as recognizing the work from members across the state. We will now be able to accommodate the high demand for tickets to an event that is consistently sold out; we expect to have over 400 attendees. AIA Colorado 2017 Practice + Design Conference Thursday, September 21, - Saturday, September 23, 2017 Keystone Each year, AIA Colorado hosts a state-wide practice and design conference featuring distinguished speakers from around the country, the AIA Colorado annual business meeting, and an exhibit hall featuring industry leaders in products, services and technology. The conference attracts between people and provides exhibitors and sponsors with a unique opportunity to generate exposure and awareness about their offerings to architects and industry professionals. 5 AIA Colorado West 2017 Awards Gala Friday, October 6, 2017 Vail Join us in celebrating the award-winning projects for the AIA Colorado West Section. This event is a great opportunity to socialize, network and connect with members in the Western part of the state. There are typically around 100 attendees at this event. Building Enclosure Council (BEC) Fall Seminar Thursday, October 12, 2017 Denver This is a unique half-day seminar focused on highly relevant topics to building enclosure systems. There are typically between attendees at this event including an area for exhibit tables. If you would like to be notified of future events as they develop this year, please let us know by contacting office@aiaicolorado.org AIA Colorado South Winter Symposium Friday, December 8, 2017 Colorado Springs The AIA Colorado South Winter Symposium, hosted by the AIA Colorado South section, will include educational programming followed by a reception. Last year the event drew between people, and we expect this half-day of concentrated programing to draw a larger crowd in This is a great opportunity to network with our members and affiliates in this region of the state. 6 Additional Marketing Opportunities Practice + Design Conference Marketing Insert A valuable opportunity to include a promotional item or marketing materials in the conference goodie bag provided to all attendees on-site. There is a one-insert limit per company. Inserts, which may include items such as pens, notepads, brochures, collateral materials or other promotional items, must be no larger than 8.5 x 11. AIA Colorado must receive 650 inserts by Thursday, Sept. 7.
