The prisoner was defended by Mr Skerrett. On Friday last the prosecutor fed his birds before 4

5 going to work and on returning at night he missed one of the fowls. Although the case was a most trumpery one it occupied the attention of the bench for upwards an hour. The Beach considered the case proved, but as the accused had been already sufficiently punished she would be discharged. The accused, who has been liberated on bail, will be bought up at the Court to-morrow morning.
