Students should drop, cover, and hold position. 4 Reverse Evacuation Procedures Once the evacuation drill is completed, staff and students will quickly and silently return to the building and the classrooms. Staff will take roll. DO NOT RUN! Shelter-in Place Procedures When the announcement is made all students will remain in the building and doors are secured. fter all staff and students are secured in the building, the doors may not be opened without the authority of the Incident ommander. Dangerous Intruder Lockdown Procedures When the announcement is made, all staff will stay in classrooms or get to the nearest classroom as quickly as possible, directing students into the closest classroom. ll staff will close and lock classroom doors. Students and staff should remove themselves from the view of outside or unwanted persons. Staff will take roll. ode Yellow Medical emergency in the building. Students in the hallways will return to class and teachers will not issue any passes. Teachers will ignore all bells, continue to teach, and remain in class until further announcements are made.
