5 Sellers Insight We love the Royal Arsenal, there s a fantastic sense of community and it s such a beautiful place physically. All the wonderful old buildings, it s on the banks of the Thames, and the place is looked-after fantastically well. We moved to flat 8 from across the road (literally!) as we didn t want to leave the Arsenal but wanted very much to live in such a beautiful house. Royal Arsenal is full of smart, friendly, and interesting people, all of whom enjoy the sense of community and togetherness engendered by living somewhere so unique. The pubs, restaurants and cafes are great places to meet people and there are very active clubs and societies. Our favourite part of the property is the beautiful ornate staircase, and the little things - like safety glass! - reminds you that it used to be the scientific laboratory of Sir Frederick Abel a famous Victorian famous Victorian chemist, it makes you feel like you are owning a little slice of history.
