1 Apply for Fair & Affordable Rental Housing in: Hastings-on-Hudson, New York Deadline: May 1, 2018 Hastings-on-Hudson is in Southern Westchester in the Town of Greenburgh and is bordered by Yonkers on the south, Dobbs Ferry on the north, the unincorporated area of Greenburgh to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. A supermarket, restaurants, deli, book store, consignment and other retail shops are located on the Village s Main Street. Major shopping malls are located nearby in Yonkers and White Plains. The Westchester County Bee- Line Bus System offers regular service to White Plains and Yonkers (Routes 1 & 6). The Metro North Hudson line provides service to Yankee Stadium, 125 th Street in Harlem, Grand Central and north to Poughkeepsie. The nearby Saw Mill River Parkway provides easy car access to lower Westchester and New York City. Recreational facilities are nearby, including historic Draper Park, Old Croton Aqueduct, and the MacEachron Waterfront Park with its views of the Palisades. The nearby South County Trailway offers biking and walking opportunities. The Village s Parks & Recreation Department offers swim lessons, an after school program, preschool classes, summer camp and other activities. Residents will be served by the Hastings-on-Hudson Union Free School District consisting of three schools elementary, middle and high school.
