1 For students who prefer to stay in accommodations other than homestay, CPI offers a reservation service for apartments and rooms close to each campus. This arrangement is made possible due to partnerships with the following providers: B&B Vista Los Volcanes located near the CPI Heredia campus; Casas del Toro located near CPI Flamingo and CPI Monteverde. For clarification, CPI s role is only to assist in making the reservation; any and all concerns during your stay are attended by the management at each accommodation. Detailed below are the policies of these aforementioned partners; please note, during your stay at these accommodations you are bound to their regulations. Recommendation, as these units are boutique style and availability is limited, we do advise you make your reservations in advance. All accommodations run from through. Accommodations Reservation Policy Providers require a 10% non-refundable deposit applicable towards the total cost of reservation. If the deposit is not received one week from booking your reservation will be automatically cancelled. One month before the reservation start date the outstanding balance must be paid in full. Should the booking request be received one month before the reservation start date the reservation must be paid in full, versus only a deposit. Should the client want to adjust or postpone the reservation, it must be done at least one month prior to reservation start date. Accommodations Cancellation Policies Cancellation one month or more advance notice prior to start date of reservation: No additional charge beyond non-refundable deposit Cancellation less than one month advance notice prior to start date of reservation: One week of the accommodation reserved will be charged. Clarifications: If the accommodation reservation is for more than 1 week, the remaining weeks of accommodation will be refunded through international bank transfer with any/all bank fees being the responsibility of client. If the student is in Costa Rica, and s/he is cancelling the reservation from another CPI campus the same cancellation policy applies. Once client initiates stay at the apartment, room or villa, under no circumstance are there refunds for those who do not nor cannot finish the stay for which they have booked. Regulations: Apartments, Rooms and Villas It is our sincerest desire that all guests have the best experience possible while residing at the apartments, rooms and villas. With the goal of ensuring an environment which allows guests the opportunity to both study and relax, we request that guests agree to the following guidelines and policies. No smoking inside rooms/apartments/villas Residents of the units will be held responsible for damages No guests are permitted between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Violation of this rule will result in a $50 penalty charge (per visitor, per night) No animals allowed No loud music or noise after 9:00 PM out of respect for fellow guests and neighbors The use of the washer and dryer is for guests only There will be a charge of $10 for loss of house key Check in is at 2:00 PM. Check out is at 10:00 AM. With four nights or more in this accommodation, the full weekly price will apply and any un-used nights cannot be exchanged for money nor alternative accommodation. Absolutely: no overnight guests. Failure to abide by these non-negotiable terms will result in immediate eviction from the premises without refund. 1

2 Information on rooms, apartments and villas For students at CPI Heredia: B&B Vista Los Volcanes: Located in the quiet residential town of San Joaquín de Flores, within a 20 minute walk to the CPI Heredia campus, these newly constructed, fully furnished and equipped apartments and rooms are conveniently situated in a secure setting nearby a restaurant and a supermarket. Students staying at Vista Los Volcanes enjoy an amazing view of the Poás and Barva Volcanoes, and will experience living on their own in a quaint Costa Rican community. 3 For students at CPI Monteverde: Casas del Toro Monteverde Within a 5 minute walk to the CPI Monteverde campus, Casas del Toro Monteverde offers students top quality, modern lodging located in the quiet forested area of Monteverde. 4 For students at CPI Flamingo: Casas del Toro Flamingo Apartments Located in the Flamingo Beach area, these recently remodeled units are just a few minutes away from the shore and 5 minutes by car from the CPI Flamingo campus. There is free transportation to/from the school during week days at set times. This accommodation has an in-ground swimming pool, WIFI and A/C. If the student chooses to walk, the distance is around 2 km or 25 minutes to/from the Flamingo campus. Address: Casas del Toro Flamingo is visible from road #180, 500 meters past Mar Vista, and surrounded by magenta orange walls. It is located next to Villas Ferlito.
