Our per-square foot price starts in the mid-$80s/square foot. All of our pricing is in writing and no construction will start until you have read and signed the contract that provides a list of everything that will be completed. What are the hidden costs? There are no hidden costs! Our prices include everything (except the furniture) including the kitchen sink! This means that all cabinets, fixtures, sinks, towel racks, toilets, showers, etc are included in the price. If you d like a furniture package we can provide those too. Once the last payment is made you will receive the keys to your beautiful home in Costa Rica. I don t want the hassle and I m worried about permits/insurance. It can be complicated to build a home in Costa Rica, but we handle everything for you. Before construction starts, the home s design (structural, electrical) will have been reviewed and approved by a team of engineers in the College of Engineers in San Jose (federal approval). It will also be approved by a local engineer in the municipality who will issue the building permit. The price of your home includes all permits, insurance, design costs, etc. You will receive photos twice per week providing you a photographic update of your home. 3 I ve never built a home before - where do I start? The design is where you would start - either choose one of our existing designs or work with our architect to come up with exactly what you are looking for. We will need to know your budget, the type of home and number of bedrooms and bathrooms the house will have and any other special features (if any) you d like to see in the house. Is the quality of construction good? The quality of construction in Las Villas de San Buenas is world class. We have partnered with an experienced group of architects and builders who have built many homes in the southern pacific zone of Costa Rica and know which materials are best to use. We spent several years interviewing almost 20 different building groups and companies before selecting our exclusive builder. Most homes are built with block and rebar, however, we have also built a home using a wide variety of material besides block and rebar.
