3 History of the street and house Kalēju street (Forge street), where home and apartments 1765 are situated, was formed in the 13th century, but its current name this street received only in the 17th century. It happened for the reason that a er the construction of the new city forti cations, all ammable blacksmith workshops moved to rivers Ridzene bank, on the external side of city's old fence. As far as in this street lived and worked a lot of blacksmiths, street became known as Forge. At that time there were 8 Forging streets in Riga. House, in which are situated apartments "1765" in the 18th century served as a residential home and workshop for local cra man. At this moment house is a part of the Riga city historical center, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage's list and is protected as a historical object.

4 Terms of use While you are living in the apartment, you agree with those rules, which are listed below: 1. Registration takes place a er 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. 2. Check out takes place not later than a.m. on departure day. 3. As we care about the health of our guests (in past years was increased number of people with asthma and allergy symptoms), smoking and pets stay in the apartments is prohibited. 4. Making loud noises in apartments is prohibited during the period from p.m. to 8.00 a.m.. 5. Please, take care of the things and objects that you are using. In the case of property damage, guest is liable for damages done. 6. For security reasones, in apartments is prohibited to use powerful (over one kilowatt) electric appliances (for example, a powerful hair dryer), which are not included in the equipment set.

Washing services are available every 5 days). 3. If it is necessary to clean apartments and change towels, please contact in advance (cleaning services and towels changing are included in the price. To order this service, please contact in advance (price to be determined depending on the distance). 5.
