2 T amares 500 Broadway was acquired by Tamares Real Estate in 995. Tamares Real Estate invests in, and develops landmark properties in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. The company takes a long term view, manages its portfolio intensively to create added value and has a sophisticated knowledge of finance. Some of its investments are in New York s Times Square, in Washington D.C., on Piccadilly in London s West End, and in Edinburgh, Scotland. Since its purchase of 500 Broadway, Tamares Real Estate has invested significant capital to enhance the value of the building. 500 Broadway occupies an entire block front on Broadway between 43rd Street and 44th Street in the heart of Times Square, and comprises of approximately 500,000 square feet of office and retail space.
