2 proposed changes hat changes are proposed? hat is a Direct Control District? dding uses to the Direct Control Districts Direct Control District is a customized land use district. They are used where activities or development Modify building setbacks match requirements on the north side of Na a Drive Requirement for commercial uses on main floor form were not contemplated by an existing land use district. Direct Control Districts uses the rules of a standard land use district as a base and modifies either use or development rules to suit the development proposed.

4 project design objectives The objective is to create active shopping street similar to 17th venue that provide a variety of uses that service the community and areas beyond. The Gateway Centre is intended as an entertainment area with restaurants, shops and cinema(s). The Town Centre is intended to provide a mix of uses including retail, restaurants, grocery store and residential.
