6 Reinhold Melander was called upon by Clara Congdon to expand the gardener s cottage to accommodate the Wyness family and the City of Duluth chose Melander s design for Enger Tower.

7 Cass Gilbert was the architect for the Minnesota State capital building and designed the flagpole in front of the St. Louis County Courthouse.
