No cash bars allowed. Clients may provide their own alcohol as long as a professional bartending service is hired. All vendors must provide adequate certificates and liability insurance along with a signed Third Party Vendor Agreement at least one week prior the event date. Parking: Kim Sing Theatre offers up 60 parking spaces for rent at a secured and gated parking lot located on the corner of Sunset and Figueroa St. Due the requirements of the parking lot, hiring a valet service is required when renting these spaces. An outside quote must be obtained from the valet service of your choice. Site Management: For wedding events and any event with a guest count of 100 or more, a Kim Sing Theatre venue manager is required. Additional fees apply for site management. Security Guards: High capacity events require 1-2 unarmed security guards on site. Additional rates will apply. 5 VENUE POLICIES PAYMENT: Owner requires payment of security deposit and a signed Special Event Agreement formally confirm a booking. Any remaining balance and final guest count must be given Owner no later than thirty (30) days prior the event date. If client chooses do a payment plan, client must have a credit card on file. Client authorizes Owner maintain an open account on client's credit card. TOURS: Kim Sing Theatre will provide one ur after receiving a completed event questionnaire. No more than two urs will be provided the same party prior reserving the space. SECURITY DEPOSIT: After review of the facility and property by the Owner and Event Contact, the Security Deposit will be refunded within five (5) business days, provided that the rental checkout list has been satisfied, there are no damages the building and/or grounds and the Client has used the facility for the time stated in the contract. CANCELLATION: In the unlikely event the Client should cancel, all deposits will be non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, if the Owner is able rebook a comparable event on the scheduled date, the entire deposit will be refunded. The Owner reserves the right terminate this contract if the Client fails meet or violates any terms of the contract, in which case the provisions of this cancellation policy also apply. The Client shall not assign or sub-lease any terms, conditions, or services contained in this contract or any interest therein without the written consent of the Owner. SOFT HOLDS: Upon request, we offer a complimentary soft hold on a date for up 5 business days. If you are prepared with a deposit and signed contract, you can formally challenge a soft hold. In this event, the first hold client has 24 hours from the time of challenger's request put down their deposit and sign a contract for the date. If the holding client does not formally book within those 24 hours, the date is released the challenger for booking. We cannot offer any soft holds for events within 30 calendar days. CHANGE OF DATE: Deposits are non-refundable. If it becomes necessary for you cancel your event, all payments made date are non refundable and all outstanding payments will be due immediately.
