2 CHECK LIST Please note that as of 4 th of October 2016 all Change requests should only be submitted via IATA customer portal at Please note that in case you are not a portal user ( you need to register and then use the dedicated service IATA Accreditation and Changes. Please note that IATA may request any additional document during the Application/Change process that might be considered as necessary to meet the qualifications. Change of Ownership a) Sale of an IATA Location to an Outside Party If this represents a complete change of ownership of the Agency then the following documents are required. Application form Head office (with details of new entity) Current certified financial statements: Photos of the interior and exterior of the Travel Agency location Letter of appointment or copy of the contract signed with the GDS Bank letter with full bank account details - please see template and instructions in this guide (if direct debit is applicable) SEPA Form (two copies should be printed out and filled in. Afterwards one form should be sent to IATA and another form should be sent to the agent s bank Sample of Travel Agency s letterhead Bank Guarantee unlimited expiry Only after receipt of the application form and verification of Financial Assessment results you will be informed separately if a Bank Guarantee is required! 3 CHECKLIST - IATA TRAVEL AGENT Current certified financial statements *New Owner: Letter of appointment or copy of the contract signed with the GDS Bank letter with full bank account details - please see template and instructions in this guide (if direct debit is applicable) SEPA Form (two copies should be printed out and filled in. Afterwards one form should be sent to IATA and another form should be sent to the agent s bank Change of Shareholding Instructions and special requirements in order to notify IATA of a Change of Shareholding a) Change of more than 30% of Shares Application form Head office (with details of new entity) - Original Current certified financial statements: Copy of the legal acts certifying the change Bank Guarantee unlimited expiry Only after receipt of the application form and verification of Financial Assessment results you will be informed separately if a Bank Guarantee is required! Do not provide without pre-advise. b) Change of less than 30% of Shares Notice of Change Form signed by authorised person of the Agency Copy of legal acts certifying the change Change of Legal Status Requirements in order to notify IATA of a Change of Legal Status For complete change to the owners legal entity status of the Agency then the following documents are required.
