2 SIN Relocation Services Package (653-1 A-D) Pricing Option 1: Full Choice Guaranteed Buyout with Mortgage Payoff Shall mean that the following elements are in place: Employee has choice of real estate agent in both old and new locations; Employee may have listed home previously via a For Sale by Owner or other listing arrangement; Appraisals are performed upon Authorization; Employee will select Designated Certified Appraisers from list provided by Contractor; Appraised Value Offer Period is for a period of 60 days, but may be increased up to 90 days by the ordering agency Employee may accept Appraised Value Offer at any time during offer period; Mortgage Payoff required at time of acquisition; Employee mortgage counseling for new home purchase not required; and Employee has choice of mortgage supplier. SIN 653-4: Additional Services SIN (A) Customized Management Reports No Fee SIN (B) Customized Data Communication Capabilities No Fee SIN (C) Customized Program Materials No Fee SIN (D) Expense Management (Voucher Review and Payment) Provides expense tracking services including employee counseling, expense reimbursement, auditing, tax calculations, reporting and employee year end tax information in compliance with the agency s guidelines and the FTR. Service available only if other services are purchased by agency. $498 per employee plus direct expenses SIN (E) Entitlement Counseling $ per employee SIN (G) Cost of Living Analysis Provides a cost of living comparison between old duty station and new duty station. This can help the employee make a more informed decision when it comes to relocation. $25.00 per report SIN (H) Temporary Living Stand Alone Program Provides assistance to the employee in locating suitable temporary accommodations in the new duty station. $350 per employee SIN (I) Enhanced Rental Assistance A half-day or full-day, detailed destination area tour that includes local real estate markets, commuting issues, area amenities and a community orientation. One Half-Day Tour: $350 One Full Day Tour: $600 05
6 Property Management Assists the employees on temporary or permanent assignment inside or outside the United States, who prefer to retain rather than sell their current home. The service allows the employees to focus on their new assignment while their departure residence is managed.. $4200 fee for the first year Monthly Fee: $350/month for year two and every year thereafter Broker Tenant Finding fee: Actual costs not to exceed 12.0% of annual property rental value Broker Fee Monthly: Actual costs not to exceed $4,500 per year Training Cartus will provide implementation training to agency employees for all services provided as outlined in the agency guidelines and the Statement of Work. Further, Cartus will provide training on demand at the agency s request. This may include remedial training on any service, training on new services, and special training for relocations issues and/or trends. No Fee Travel in Support of Training When training is requested by the agency, Cartus reserves the right to request that the agency pay for the actual travel costs in accordance with Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) guidelines. This is for Cartus Personnel who travel in support of training services. Cartus will simply coordinate closing of the employee s independently generated sale. Home sale expenses are subject to Relocation Income Tax Allowance (RITA). Fixed Fee of 9.50% of the homes sales price. SIN 653-5(D) Stand-Alone Home Marketing Assistance Under this option, there is no guaranteed offer. The focus is on providing home marketing assistance to help the employee generate an independent sale. $ if the agency does not purchase a home sale program.
