The two Realtors moved to the Southernmost City from the snowy plains of Iowa 4 years ago, and have since made a name for themselves working as a partnership out of the offices of Century 21 Schwartz Realty. We both work on all aspects of a deal, Janine Seibert said. I guess if there is a division of labor, I tend to concentrate more on the organizational and marketing aspects of what we do, while Jon is a great negotiator. But we work hand-in-hand on everything we do. Both Seiberts bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the job. Janine has worked in the field for more than 24 years, and is a licensed Realtor in both Florida and Iowa. She has achieved the coveted Certified Residential Specialist status, and is a past co-owner of her own real estate firm. For Janine, the climate is also a big draw. I enjoy the fact that I can take advantage of the weather and my love for running and biking every day of the year, she said. Completing 16 half-marathons and numerous 5Ks, 10Ks, and 20Ks, and a few duathalons, has been my hobby for the past several years. On the civic side, the couple supports such organizations as the Key West Business Guild, and AIDS Help, Inc. The Seiberts have sponsored the last three Fantasy Fest King, Queen, and Duke candidates, and also support, the Cooking with Love program, Girls Night Out, and the Southernmost Coconut Castaways.
