Supervised Appraisal means that you provided significant real property appraisal assistance. *Ad Valorem credit will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate that they a. used techniques to value property similar to those used by appraisers and effectively used the appraisal process. Credit for experience in mass appraisals will be awarded for highest and best use analysis, model specifications (developing the model), and model calibration (developing adjustments to the model). Other components of the mass appraisal process, by themselves, will not be awarded credit. credit is given for data gathering.

6 Appraisal Log An appraisal log shall be maintained by the Appraiser Trainee and the supervising appraiser jointly. All applications must be submitted with an appraisal log. Information needed on the appraisal log are listed below and must be signed off by both Trainee and the trainee s supervisor. 1. Type of property; 2. Date of report; 3. Address of appraised property; 4. Description of work performed by the trainee and scope of the review and supervision of the supervising appraiser; 5. Number of actual work hours by the trainee on the assignment; and 6. The signature and state certification number of the supervising appraiser must be on each and every page of your log. Separate appraisal logs shall be maintained for each supervising appraiser if applicable. If the appraisal log is not submitted or does not have all of the above information on it, your application will be considered incomplete.

7 STATEMENT OF APPRAISER I hereby certify that I have completed the appraisal experience in accordance with the laws and rules of the Board of Real Estate Appraisers for: LICENSED REAL ESTATE APPRAISER - Two thousand hours of appraisal experience. Obtained over a period of not less than 12 months. CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE APPRAISER - Two thousand five hundred hours of appraisal experience obtained over a period of not less than 24 months. CERTIFIED GENERAL REAL ESTATE APPRAISER - Three thousand hours of appraisal experience obtained over a period of not less than 30 months is required. The applicant, for experience credit, must have accumulated a total of three thousand hours of appraisal experience of which at least one thousand five hundred hours must be in nonresidential appraisal work. I understand that experience documentation in the form of reports or file memoranda must be available to support the claim for experience, and must be produced on request. I further certify that everything listed on this experience report is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
