2 Sarpy Transmission Project (STP) Purpose serve the scheduled growing electrical needs in Sarpy County and surrounding area Scope new 5-6 mile 161kV transmission line, from substation 1255 (114 th /Giles) to substation 1260 (144 th /Schram) in Papillion Benefits capacity and reliability to support new and expanding businesses and residential growth Timeline 1 st Local Leader Meeting (LLM) and Public Open House are compete. 2 nd LLM and Route Announcement September 2017 Construction start June 2019 In-Service December 2019

5 STP Easement Acquisition Lessons Learned Incentive payment on Elkhorn River Valley Transmission Project is inconclusive Landowners are more informed and have a greater ability to organize and communicate Landowners desire to capitalize monetarily OPPD continually investigates acquisition alternatives Benchmarking OPPD has lower condemnation rates than adjacent utilities Legal is reviewing case law for trends in utility condemnations Easement language calibration with neighboring utilities

7 La Vista Transmission Project (LVTP) Purpose Joint project with the City of La Vista to enhance the reliability and service in conjunction with recent community developments New City Center will increase visitors and revenue for the city Scope replacing and repositioning 2 miles of existing 69 kv transmission line from substation 928 (72 nd /Parkview) to substation 942 (96 th /Harrison) Benefits Removal of 2.1 miles of existing facilities Better serve businesses and residents in the area Accommodate current growth and ensure reliability for years to come Easier access for maintenance/repair Timeline Held OPPD information table before La Vista City Council Meeting 8/15 Permitting & ROW Activities Q Line in Service Q4 2018
