COMMSSON PRORTES: Business Requirement EXPLANATON: (see next page for additional explanation) n order to construct the improvements included in the Dr. MLK Jr. Way Streetscape Project the City needed to encroach on to 5 City owned properties for the purposes of traffic control devices, general public ingress and egress, utilities and other right of way uses. n addition, a new bus shelter for SCAT was constructed that also needed to encroach on to City Owned property at 1742 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way (Property leased by Children First). The purpose of this agenda is to approve and authorize the execution of the necessary permanent easements. ncluded in the attachment is a listing of the 5 parcels, name of tenant if appropriate and the easement type.
