5 Page 5 of 6 Exhibit I Creative Ways Agents Can Use Video DAILY REAL ESTATE NEWS TUESDAY, MARCH 08, 2016 While most real estate agents are already using video to showcase their listings, there are a few other ways that video can be creatively used in your day-to-day business. Video can help maintain relationships, establish you as a thought-leader, and can also help you get new clients by showing a bit of your personality. Here are some suggestions on how to incorporate video to improve your business. Introduce Yourself In today's age when most people connect via text message, using a video to introduce yourself to potential clients or business partners can help you stand out. This short video message introducing your self can also be posted to your YouTube or LinkedIn profiles. Video Testimonials Testimonials are important, and using the medium of film as opposed to seeing a written testimonial is even more powerful. "If someone goes on camera to tout your brilliance, they are making a real commitment to you and that will impress the people who are evaluating you," advises a recent article by Forbes. Maintaining Relationships With all of the video conferencing technology on the market, there's no excuse to not keep in touch with clients or members of your estate team in a way that is perhaps more effective than sending dozens of s back and forth. From Google Hangouts to Skype and everything in between, there is video conferencing tech that will be easy for everyone to adopt. The Power of Personality Many agents these days are turning the video cameras on themselves, not their listings, in an effort to show off their personality. Jessica Edwards, a broker-associate with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage in Wilmington, N.C., started shooting conversational, relaxed videos in her car to stay in touch with her current clients. Her YouTube channel now boasts over 8,300 subscribers and has over 1.1 million views. "My biggest advice is don t look for specific results right away. Look at video as a way to stay in touch with clients. Look at video as a way to gather feedback from others around you, But it takes time, and you have to stay consistent." Thought Leadership Your knowledge about your community, or even a particular real estate niche, can provide effective video content that shows your position as a thought-leader. Film yourself discussing events in your area, share fun facts about your area of expertise, or break down recent housing data for prospects. Also, as Forbes points out, "If you are expressing your thoughtleadership in the form of an in-person presentation at your local professional association, get it videotaped. You will be able to break your talk up into a series of two to three minute clips that you can publish on your YouTube channel. This instantly multiplies your audience." Latest Unemployment Drop May Boost Housing DAILY REAL ESTATE NEWS TUESDAY, MARCH 1, 2016 The economy is adding jobs, and that likely will bode well for the housing market in the coming months as consumers feel more confident about their earnings, economists say. in February, the unemployment rate is now at 4.9 percent, according to new data released by the Bureau of Labor statistics. The unemployment level is now at the lowest point since May February s employment situation report should strengthen confidence, says Jonathan Smoke, realtor.com s chief economist. Additionally, the strong pace of job creation should lead to continued positive household formation. Combined with substantial pent-up demand for home purchases, we remain confident we will see the strongest spring buying season in a decade.

6 Page 6 of 6 Exhibit II Kitchen Remodeling Projects That Pay Off DAILY REAL ESTATE NEWS FRIDAY, MARCH 04, 2016 Kitchen redos can be pricey. That means home owners on a budget must be choosy when trying to decide what kitchen projects to spend money on and what improvements can wait. Realtor.com recently launched a new series Renovations That Really Pay Off," and their first article focuses on kitchen projects that have the best return on investment and won't be too much of a financial burden for your clients. Here are a few of the kitchen projects highlighted: Amped Up Appliances New appliances like a refrigerator, stainless-steel dishwasher, and stove can have a strong pull with home buyers, says real estate pro Al Cannistra. For example, Cannistra says he had a listing that lingered on the market with outdated appliances but as soon as the owners updated the appliances, the home received two offers in the first week and the home ended up selling above asking price. Just be sure to keep the appliances and plumbing where they are because the rule of thumb is to add $5,000 each time you relocate either, suggests Justin Riordan, founder of Spade and Archer Design Agency Spruce up the cabinets New cabinets can range from $3,900 and $12,000. That s why home owners may be better off trying to give a face-lift to what they already have, such as replacing the cabinet hardware or painting the cabinets. If you have existing wood cabinets that are still in decent shape, instead of completely refacing them, give them a fresh coat of paint, says Tracy Kay Griffin, designer for HGTV s Get It Sold. For example, Rust-Oleum offers a Cabinet Transformation kit. Add a charging station Everyone is looking for a plug to charge for their smartphones, tablets, and electronics. Nearly twothirds of remodelers say they ve added a charging station in the kitchen for the gadgets, according to the National Kitchen and Bath Association s annual trend report. Cabinets and drawers can be modified to add hidden power strips, for example. New countertops A new countertop can have a big impact on the look of the kitchen. And don t assume granite. NKBA says quartz countertops are gaining popularity. A new countertop provides an opportunity to install a new glass or subway backsplash for additional punch, says designer Erin Davis, co-owner of Mosaik Design & Remodeling in Portland, Ore. A budget-friendly option is to install a 4-inch-high splash out of the same countertop material. Wood floors NKBA s latest report shows that wood floors are the most popular kitchen flooring. Plus, averaging $9 to $12 a square foot, wood flooring tends to be cheaper than tile too.
