THE AVERAGE RENTAL PRICE FOR A TWO- BEDROOM UNIT, HOWEVER, FELL BY 0.46% FROM THIS TIME LAST YEAR. OVERALL, THE AVERAGE RENTAL PRICE IN QUEENS INCREASED BY 0.57% YEAR-OVER-YEAR. THIS PAST MONTH, EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD, OTHER THAN LONG ISLAND CITY (+1.68%) AND FLUSHING (+1.07%), EXPERIENCED RENTAL PRICE DROPS. OUT OF ALL UNIT TYPES, STUDIOS PERFORMED THE BEST ON AN OVERALL AND BY- NEIGHBORHOOD BASIS WITH PRICES INCREASING IN LONG ISLAND CITY (+0.94%), FLUSHING (+3.66%), AND FOREST HILLS (+1.24%). DURING DECEMBER, THE MOST EXPENSIVE UNITS COULD BE FOUND IN LONG ISLAND CITY, WHILE THE LEAST EXPENSIVE WERE IN JACKSON HEIGHTS.
