Bidders Choice s experienced team of professionals successfully manages all aspects of the auction from site preparation, advertising and marketing to conducting the auction itself, as well as the final clean-up and consolidation. 4 MANAGEMENT TEAM Managing Director Pieter Geldenhuys After completing his military service as an Infantry School officer, Pieter started out in the teaching profession. However, he continued his studies at the University of Potchefstroom at the Vaal Campus and ventured into the banking industry, where he acquired a wealth of financial skills. Pieter moved up through the ranks in the financial sector and soon became part of the management team of what was then Boland Bank. When the Bank decided to sell their Eiendomsdienste en Afslaers division to Seeff, Pieter opened up Seeff Auctions in the Northern Region. He subsequently grew this newly founded business into a solid, profitable and sustainable auction concern, and into a household name in and around Pretoria. After almost two decades in the auction industry and with a healthy passion for the business, Pieter decided to make his move and founded Bidders Choice. As a veteran auctioneer throughout South Africa and in neighbouring states, Pieter has conducted substantial mining auctions. In his personal capacity he has also presided over huge agricultural and farming-related auctions, including the sale of livestock, several game lodges and farming equipment. Pieter has also conducted many commercial multiple auctions and distinguished himself as an auctioneer of exceptional skill and versatility. Pieter firmly believes that transparency and humility are indispensable traits and that you should always treat buyers and sellers with the same dignity and respect that you expect from others. He believes trust is earned and should never be lost even under the toughest circumstances.

5 MANAGEMENT TEAM RoSlynn van der haar ADMINistration Manager With her young, fresh and dynamic approach, she has successfully completed a National Higher Diploma in Financial Management, she is dedicated, loyal and trustworthy who is a multi skilled administrator with over 13 years progressive experience. Possessing excellent organisational skills and a proven track record of building positive relationships with clients at all levels. Mark Morgan Operations Manager Mark has acquired deep knowledge of the operations and auctions environment during his 25 years of exposure. His business acumen allows for growth and expansion in all fields. He has the ability to manage resources, foster customer centricity, meet stakeholder expectations and deliver within tight deadlines. He values trust, respect, and integrity. He always strives to build lasting working relationships.

6 MANAGEMENT TEAM teaching at the John Orr Technical School in Johannesburg and in the early eighties he entered the challenging world of auctioneering with Aucor in Johannesburg. He stared off in the field of heavy Transport Vehicles, but went through the school of experience in the fields of Mining Equipment, Industrial Equipment, Earth Moving Equipment (so-called Yellow Metal ), Factory Equipment and Industrial Liquidations. Koos Boshoff GENERAL MANAGER: PLANT & EQUIPMENT With 34 years experience in the wider field of Auctioneering, Koos was mentored by several well-known names in the Industry and can be regarded as a chip off the old block with pride. Koos was born and bred in the Free State, where he completed Matric in He enrolled as apprentice motor Mechanic and obtained his red ticket after only 2 years and 8 months, whilst also completing the National Technical Certificate (N3) in the same period.. Koos is a no-nonsense what you see is what you get person with a no-negotiation stance when it comes to integrity and acceptance of accountability. He believes that trust is earned and cannot be traded for cheap popularity. His brutally frank approach to life and his work enabled him to build strong relationships all over the sub continent, ensuring a well established network of people in the industry. Going through the school of hard experience, he is able to follow a well-defined holistic approach to the liquidation of under-performing assets, resulting in a well balanced win-win situation to all parties involved, backed up by a flawless system of verified transparency. After several years on the floor he took up

10 Online Auctions We are hosting two types of auctions: Live webcasts These are traditional sales conducted by an auctioneer that take place at an auction venue. The live webcast allows the online bidder to participate in the auction in real time. Timed auctions These are online only auctions. Bids are placed over a defined time period. The highest bidder at the end of the bidding period is successful. Lots appear on your screen as they are offered in the sale Your bids are instantly relayed to the auctioneer.
