Sanders, Interim Chief Appraiser (extension 7104) RE: Agenda Request DATE: November 14, 2007 BACKGROUND: The Board of Assessors met on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 and approved the Real Property Corrections as presented by staff, 4-0. Also presented and approved were the Real Property Exemptions, Personal Property Pre-Bill Mobile Home Corrections, Personal Property Corrections and the Personal Property Motor Vehicle Appeal. After some discussion all of the items presented were approved as recommended by the Staff, 5-0. ALTERNATIVES: 1. Do nothing. 2. Request more information from the Property Appraisal Office. 3. Approve corrections and exemptions to the digests as requested by the Board of Assessors and/or Interim Chief Appraiser. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends Alternative #3, approval of notices as requested. RECOMMENDED MOTION: I make a motion to approve the Real Property Corrections, Exemptions and the Personal Property Pre-Bill Mobile Home Corrections, Personal Property Corrections and the Personal Property Motor Vehicle Appeal as recommended by the Board of Assessors and/or the Interim Chief Appraiser at their Wednesday, November 7, 2007 meeting.
