8 Locality Information Macro Locality Thabo Monate Game Lodge is a renowned and well-established tourist attraction in the heart of the bushveld nestled in the undulating hills and the unspoiled natural environment in and around the Waterberg Mountains. It is renowned for its magnificent facilities in a sprawling, picturesque reserve spanning over ±350ha. The game lodge is characterized by its unspoiled natural environment and diverse wildlife. It is situated on a continually maintained gravel road accessible via the R101, roughly 13km north of and 19km south of Modimolle towns in the Limpopo Province. Its locality along the R101 provides ease of access to and from the N1 highway for visitors travelling from Pretoria / Johannesburg in the south, as well as visitors travelling from Polokwane in the north. Nearby towns provide all major amenities and service offerings required including schools, hospitals and retail and commercial offerings including the Bela Mall and Modi Mall. The property is characterised by natural bushveld and undulating hills with mostly summer rainfall and average temperatures ranging from 20ºC to 29 ºC in January. 12 Property Description Accommodation 4-Sleeper Chalet The site hosts a variety of accommodation options including chalets (4- and 6- sleeper options), safari tents (2-sleeper), Nyala Park Caravan / Camping site and Rooibok Park Caravan / Camping site all varying in configuration, size and utilities. The configuration of the various accommodation can be summarized as follows: 29 chalets (10 x 6 sleepers & 19 x 4 sleeper); o All have fully equipped kitchens, one or two bathrooms and living/sleeping areas with a covered carport; o All water heating is gas based; o One of the 4-sleepers is a log cabin. 4-Sleeper Chalet 2 camping and caravan sites (see the layout on page 8 for location); o Nyala Camping Site: 105 spacious camping sites measuring 10m x 10m with three separate ablution blocks, a small splash pool, trampolines and kiddie s jungle gym. o Rooibok Camping Site: 14 spacious camping sites measuring 12m x 12m situated right by the main reception area with most facilities (restaurant, kiosk, swimming pools, etc.). Ablution facilities consist of one ablution block; o Each camping site has its own plug point. o Safari Tents: 2x2-sleeper hidden in the further most western corner of the Nyala Camp Site, each offering 2 single beds with linen, fan, fridge and braai area. 6-Sleeper Chalet 6-Sleeper Chalet Additional Improvements In addition to the primary accommodation buildings, the site further hosts the following buildings and/or improvements: Main Reception Main Reception and Facilities: Main Reception Building hosting reception/offices, curios shop and toilets; Large building hosting a bar and restaurant with shared kitchen and toilets; 12
