7 Lazy V Quarter Circle Ranch SWA 320-acre 3 rd Party CE and Perpetual Public Access Easement Big game hunting Garfield County Closed February 2014 Aspen Valley Land Trust acquired a CE protecting big game range on the second half of the Lazy V Ranch. CPW also acquired public access for hunting.

9 Tamarack Ranch SWA Tarrell Parcel 80 acre-in-holding in the Tamarack Ranch SWA Fee Title Acquisition Logan County Closed March 2014 CPW acquired fee title to an 80 acre in-holding in the Tamarack State Wildlife Area. The land is very typical of the South Platte river bottom habitat found in Northeastern Colorado.

13 Rio Blanco Lake SWA - Roselund & Black Mountain 695-acre Fee Title Acquisition/Public Access Easement Rio Blanco County Closed December 2014 The Roselund and Black Mountain parcels were acquired in fee title on both sides of Highway 64, along with a public access easement to the non-fee title remainder of the White River for fishing and small game hunting.

15 Cross Mountain Ranch SWA 16,069-acre Third Party Conservation Easement and 13,368-acre 10-year Term Access Easement Moffat County Closed December 2014 Colorado Cattlemen s Agricultural Land Trust ( CCALT ) on 16,069 acres of Cross Mountain Ranch in Moffat County with the help of CPW funding. CPW also was granted a 10-year public access easement on 13,368 acres at no cost. The CE protects sage grouse habitat and the PAE provides access for big-game hunting.

22 Basalt SWA - Coffman Parcel 1.5-acre Fee Title exchange Eagle County Closed August 2014 This exchange benefitted CPW by simplifying its management of Basalt SWA; it maintains 15 in fee title fishing access along the Frying Pan River and adds new Bighorn Sheep habitat.
23 Junction Butte SWA - CDOT 8-acre Fee Title Disposition Grand County Closed October 2014 This project conveyed to Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) 5 parcels of land for widening State Highway 9 just south of Kremmling and for completing other highway improvements to increase game crossing safety.
24 Castlewood Canyon State Park Kinsella Parcel 15-acre Fee Title acquisition Douglas County Closed October 2014 The Kinsella parcel adjacent to Castlewood Canyon State Park was acquired to greatly improve emergency access and staff accessibility to the NW side of the park, preserve historic buildings, and provide equipment storage and housing for park volunteers and staff.
25 Staunton State Park Dines Parcel 80-acre Fee Title donation to CPW Jefferson County Closed December 2014 The Dines in-holding was donated by the family to CPW to become a part of Staunton St Park. This beautiful acreage will be added to the hiking trail circuit and the house will be a wonderful place for meetings, gatherings and retreats.
