Date range 1969 to 2007 Biography Notes Family Planning Queensland (FPQ), originally known as Family Planning Association of Queensland, has been a leading provider of sexual and reproductive health services to people in Queensland since its foundation in FPQ offers clinical, educational, training and information services from metropolitan and regional locations statewide. FPQ is a member of Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia. Material in Boxes 2 19 was consulted and some notated by Sylvia Bannah while writing her thesis Birds, bees and birth control: a history of family planning in Queensland (Thesis (Ph.D.), University of Queensland, 2010).
