3 Message From The President We can t do what we do without you! In the last year and half that I ve been on the IIDA NE board, I ve gained a fuller appreciation for what the generous support of our chapter sponsors means to our leadership and our members. Your support is the key to achieving both our mission To enhance the quality of life through excellence in interior design and to advance interior design through knowledge as well as our chapter s goals around advocacy, philanthropy and professional development. Ours is a tight-knit community, full of dedicated and passionate volunteers. The passion of our volunteers is undoubtedly our greatest strength. But, to fully realize their potential to serve our members requires the significant financial support that comes from our Chapter Sponsors. In 2017, we were humbled to have the largest number of Chapter Sponsors to date. It speaks to the value you all see in what IIDA NE is doing throughout New England as well as the value of the benefits of becoming a Chapter Sponsor. Of course, we d love to see even more of you join us! While we are proud to continue to elevate our signature events the Fashion Show, Business Leaders Breakfast, and Design Awards we are developing new and innovative programs in Professional Development, Student Affairs, and leadership development. We have many new and exciting partnerships and collaborations developing with other industry associations, like the BSA, RDI and Design Museum Boston, just to name a few.
