A message from: the directors We are proud to be a part of this LCBA tradition, which has stood the test of time for 75 years the Gridiron Show.

Lawyers, judges, elected officials and business leaders all came to see what the Circus Court of Fake County had on its docket.

Tonight s show is loosely, and we mean loosely, based upon a story from a long long time ago, in a land far far away.

Thank you for attending this evening, we hope you will enjoy the show. A special thanks to the cast and crew listed throughout this Play Bill, they have worked extremely hard. Lights! Camera! Action!

3 A message from: the directors We are proud to be a part of this LCBA tradition, which has stood the test of time for 75 years the Gridiron Show. During it s first year the Gridiron was held at the Glen Flora Country Club and nearly 300 people attended. The Waukegan Post reported that tickets sales to non-members out weighed those to members. Lawyers, judges, elected officials and business leaders all came to see what the Circus Court of Fake County had on its docket. We hope the founders of the Gridiron in 1941 would be proud of how the show has grown. Tonight s show is loosely, and we mean loosely, based upon a story from a long long time ago, in a land far far away. A place where it was good to be Jaaba, the Sheriff or even a millennial baby attorney. A time when errors could be erased, identical twins and zombies were accepted. Did you know the very first LCBA Gridiron was held on Thursday, June 5, 1941 at the Glen Flora Country Club? In the 75 years of Gridiron Shows the spirit has not changed; members of the bar continue to take a lighter look at the practice of law in Lake County. This year nearly 50 volunteer actors, technical, costume, Play Bill editors and show Directors have worked for 7 weeks on the show you ll see tonight. This year we are experimenting with a new format all show, no food. We have been able to cut the ticket price by nearly half of those from recent years. I hope that you enjoy the Gorton Theater, the Play Bill and of course The Show! Michael Ori
