1 Road Racing (Motor Vehicle Rally) (No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2009 Article 1 ROAD RACING (MOTOR VEHICLE RALLY) (No. 2) (JERSEY) ORDER 2009 Made 25th September 2009 Coming into force 25th September 2009 THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Article 2 of the Motor Vehicle Races (Jersey) Law and on the application of the Jersey Motor Cycle and Light Car Club, orders as follows 1 General provisions (1) This Order is subject to the Road Racing (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order (2) The promoters, for the purposes of that Order and this Order, are the Jersey Motor Cycle and Light Car Club. 2 Use of courses in Schedule for races with motor vehicles (1) The promoters may use the courses described in Parts 1 to 8 of the Schedule for races with motor vehicles, on the date and between the hours shown in the Schedule in relation to each course. (2) For that purpose, the promoters may close a course to traffic on the date and between the hours shown in relation to that course. 3 Provisions supplementary to use of Victoria Avenue course (1) The powers in this Article may be exercised for purposes incidental to the proper conduct of the races to be held on the course described in Part 4 of the Schedule. (2) Between 7 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Friday 9th October 2009 the promoters may close the lay-bys to the south of the course. Page - 1

2 Article 4 Road Racing (Motor Vehicle Rally) (No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2009 (3) Notwithstanding any other enactment, between 4 p.m. and midnight on Friday 9th October 2009, the promoters may suspend the parking of vehicles on (a) (b) La Route de St. Aubin between West Park and First Tower; and Gloucester Street between The Parade and The Esplanade. 4 Citation This Order may be cited as the Road Racing (Motor Vehicle Rally) (No. 2) (Jersey) Order CONNÉTABLE M.K.
