9 Patrick LEECH Architecture of Totalitarian Regimes in Europe s Urban Memory (development of European Project ATRIUM financed by South East Europe Programme) European Cultural Route from 2014 Focus: - the architectural and urban heritage in European cities built during periods of totalitarian or dictatorial rule (fascism, communism, military dictatorships) - critical and historical contextualisation of this heritage as a window on twentieth-century European history Members (made up of local administrations): Forlì (international office), Forlimpopoli, Castrocaro, Predappio, Bertinoro, Cesenatico (Italy) Iasi (Roumania), Sophia, Dimitrovgrad (Bulgaria), Doboj (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Labin, Rasa (Croatia), Thessaloniki (Greece). 20 Alessia MARIOTTI Center for Advanced Studies in Tourism Bologna University, Rimini Campus for ATRIUM Starting from February 2014 the new Center for Advanced Studies in Tourism (CAST) of the University of Bologna has been established in Rimini Campus, integrating the activities of the former School for Advanced Studies in Tourism. The mission of CAST includes promotion, design and implementation of research projects, lifelong learning courses, advanced education in different tourism sciences fields: tourism economics, tourism statistics, tourism management, tourism geography, tourism history, tourism law and policy, sustainable tourism, etc. The CAST has been selected for external expertise on WP 5 - Feasibility study and implementation of the new cultural tourism product ATRIUM, to be integrated to the candidature dossier for the recognition of ATRIUM as a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.
