1 SUMMARY OF THE YEAR 2011! annual prize of Minister of Culture and National Heritage for Robert Konieczny 19 September Robert Konieczny was honoured with the annual prize of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland in the field of architecture. It is already a tradition that once a year artists and institutions with the biggest successes are rewarded.(...) The Culture never failed, it brings phenomenal effects, effects of the highest values. It creates the image of Poland in an incredibly sustainable way - said the Minister of Culture Bogdan Zdrojewski during the ceremony. The prize is granted as an acknowledgement of the entire work or for an ecceptional accomplishments in the passing year, in the field of art, propagation and protection of national and international goods of culture. This prize lets the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland to emphasise the most appearing in culture by honouring the people who create and represent important currents and events.

5 Recyclin the Iron Curtain exhibition Robert Konieczny enriched the Exhibition of Polish art by his presence. It took place in a new space called Kuehlhaus, located in Kreuzberg - the cultural center of Berlin. The initial function of the building was refrigerator, however during exhibition became place full of art. The event named Recycling the Iron Courtain took place in Polish Presidency in Council of the European Union. Authors invited by curator Piotr Szmitke represent extremely different attitude, even though they are connected by a strong need of marking their independence against their surroundings, fashion, connections and stimulations of the market. Most of them belong to the turning point generation, with strong critical opinions, resistant to the common trends. Photo shoot from the exhibition opening:

6 Logic of space exhibition Architecture created by Robert konieczny is logic, precisely defined and unusually simpel. Projects are the results of certain process of thinking without coincidence. Simplicity, harmony, clear ratio and untypical solutions give excellent output. The architect continue sly applies the logical method of approach to design and doesn't follow common trends. Esthetics achieved in projects are the resultant of strong and precise choices. Exhibition Logic of space in Sokol Gallery in Nowy Sacz was a presentation of Robert Konieczny s architectural achievements. Not only single family houses, which brought him international recognition and fame, but also the latest project about public space could be seen.
