21 2016 Sales Planning Process Our sales planning should be short, simple and the point. It s basically our strategy and action plans for gaining new business, growing our existing business, and making and/or exceeding our sales goals within our market areas. There are four basic parts of our sales plan: 1. New business gain strategies 2. New business gain actions 3. Existing business growth strategies 4. Existing business growth actions Strategy: The plan necessary accomplish your goal. Action: The steps necessary carry out the plan 3E SELECTED SUPPLIER-PARTNER S PLANNING FORMAT: Each 3E Branch Manager will have selected a minimum of eight supplier-partners by January 22, It will be the Branch Manager s responsibility inform the supplier-partners that they ve been selected, and set up a time plan between January 25-February 29, We recommend the following attend these localized planning meetings: 3E Branch Manager 3E Account Representatives 3E Direcr Area Business Development Selected Supplier-Partner A planning form has been created help you through this process (see sample on the following pages). A Digital copy of the planning form will be sent the Branch Manager the week of January 18th. IMPORTANT NOTE: You will need fill out a planning form for each Supplier-Partner. Digital copies of the finished planning forms need be submitted your 3E Direcr-Area Business Development no later than March 1, E ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE: 3E Account Representatives will select target cusmers and plan activities with the supplier-partners selected by the branch. It is essential these activities be in sync with the overall branch s strategy. (see planning form #3 and #4 on the following pages). 20
