1 Week 274 DENIS DILLON R.I.P It is with great sadness that the death of such a valued member of the bridge community has taken place. The passing of Denis Dillon, Past President of CBAI , Trustee of the Association, and a National Tournament Director will create a huge void in the Bridge Community, especially in the South Munster Region, one that will be impossible to fill. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues. Denis had a long association with Cork and Collins Bridge Clubs both of which he was an honorary member. He was legend! We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his wife Anne and family members. Life brings tears, smiles and memories. The tears dry, the smile fades, but the memories live on forever. May Denis rest in Peace RESULTS FROM TORC CONGRESS NEXT WEEK CLONAKILTY 400 Cionnaith Ó Súilleabháin, Mayor of Clonakilty presents Commerative Calendar to Club President, Bernadette O'Reilly Overall winners Nora Twomey& Rose O Donovan (Curraghcrowley) with Club President, Bernadette O Reilly Fernhill Hotel, Clonakilty was the venue for the event and it proved to be an excellent choice, it was most comfortable, the staff was extremely courteous and it provided the players with an excellent cold plate at the ending of the session.

Master Points: WBF Online Masterpoints, as specified at BBO Masterpoints Certificates of participation in the event, according to the classification to: the first three in the individual, the first three in the Pairs and the first three in the overall The European Bridge League has offered free entry to the European Women s Pairs Championship to be held in Ostend as part of the European Open Championships in June. The prize is for the winner of the overall classification and a partner of her choice.
