It appears to be one of the earliest houses constructed in the area, which is a post-war tract. 806 W 165TH PL First Methodist Church Year built: 1950 Architectural style: Spanish Colonial Revival Context: Public and Private Institutional Development, Religion and Spirituality, Theme: Religious Property Types, Sub theme: No SubTheme Institutional - Religion/Spirituality Religious Building 3CS;5S3 This is one of the few extant churches remaining in the area. The church was founded in 1892, and its first building was constructed here in The existing building was constructed in 1950, and is eligible for its association with one of the oldest congregations in the community.
