However I am going to breach etiquette a bit and go straight for the shameless Studio 804, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Siena, KU alumni connections. I am going to assume you don t have any available positions in this crazy economic time but with one of your staff members finishing up his masters, maybe you do. So with that said I will first butter you up a bit, follow that up with a little light bragging, then finish with a nice bit of a tie together. However if you wish to skip one or more of those bits please feel free to skip ahead or simply read the bold type to get the gist. Enjoy... Let me just say I have enjoyed your blog and your work for quite some time now. Especially in the past year while I attended The University of Kansas and participated in Studio 804. Firms like yours are the ones we needed to be drawing inspiration from and we did. (I especially found your rain screen post helpful). You may have noticed I subtly mentioned Studio 804 of which I see you were a participant. It is a completely unique experience that I think only we having been through it can truly appreciate. I can only hope to be able to apply my experiences in a way such as yourself. I am not a fan of this section, so I ll try to keep it brief. I am skilled/ experienced in the following activities: (Please find the additional skill set on resume) fishing, Revit, hunting, cooking, teaching, socializing, snowboarding, photography, mountain biking, wakeboarding, boating, construction, traveling, sketching, loving life. I like to think of myself as a purist. I am a scotch one rock, steak no sauce kind of guy. Honest, pure, intelligent, and inspired. I see those same simplistic and completely beautiful qualities in your firms work, including your photography. Qualities I hope to instill in the work I am preparing to do for the rest of my life.
