Since June 2014 was nominated and confirmed to be the Secretary of the Department of Housing. Currently working on the implementation of a new Revitalization program for the Public Housing Administration in coordination with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Recently adopted a State Housing Plan ( ) with HUD to further develop the Housing needs in Puerto Rico and to promote a sustainable economical growth of all urban centers.
