2 Welcome! Willkommen! Doubtless there is an increasing demand for interculturally competent people in education, social service institutions and businesses all over the world. Therefore, it is important to gain a better understanding of how people and organisations become interculturally competent. To reach this aim, the conference is organized around four major issues: >> How to foster intercultural competencies? >> What can schools and universities contribute? >> Which challenges do social service institutions face? >> What is the perspective of economy? We warmly welcome you in Linz to discuss these important questions from various perspectives with leading experts.
