1 What is the Climathon Main Stage The Climathon Main Stage is a spectacular event that connects all cities participating in the Climathon, the 24-hour marathon on climate change promoted by EIT Climate-KIC all over the world. The event lasts for two days and includes talk shows, interviews, inspiring speeches and pitches. Many guests from the fields of entertainment, journalism, gastronomy, research, business and politics will alternate on the stage with two presenters: Paola Maugeri and Marco Cattaneo. The event will be broadcast on the Climate-KIC Facebook page, making this a true "digital event". The common thread that binds the different formats, contents and guests is the change seen as natural proactivity. Even before being technological, the challenge posed by #climatechange is social, hence the title: The way we change. Main Stage Organisers, Partners and Sponsors The Main Stage is organised by EIT Climate-KIC in collaboration with the Municipality of Turin. Main partners are: Environment Park - the Science and Technology Park for the Environment, which will host the entire event; and CLEVER - one of the 7 Innovation Clusters of the Piedmont Region. Media Partner: Rai Radio2 Sponsors: Computer Solutions S.p.A., Lavazza and Asja Ambiente Italia. Asja Ambiente Italia offsets CO2 emissions from CLIMATHON Main Stage Event and CLIMATHON Turin with carbon credits certified by RINA from its renewable energy plants in Piedmont The event received the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Environment The broadcast The Main stage is live broadcasted through the Climate-KIC Facebook account and will connect with different Climathon cities around the world.
