4 Biographical Note Herbert Pazol was a prominent local businessman and active member of the Muncie Community. In 1940, he started work as a salesman at Pazol's Jewelers, a downtown business operated by the Pazol family since He held a variety of positions within the business, including president, until his retirement in Along with running a successful business, Pazol was heavily involved in community affairs. Following service in World War II, Pazol joined American Veterans of World War II and Korea (AMVETS), Muncie Post 12, where he served as post commander from Pazol was active in the local B nai B rith chapter along with being a member of Temple Beth-El. He also served on the Delaware- Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission in the late 1960s and early 1970s and as vice president of the 1978 Delaware County Historical Festival. Scope and Contents This collection includes AMVETS State Convention notes (1949, 1950, 1969), Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission annual reports ( ), and Temple Beth-El Confirmation programs (1932, 1956, 1965). It also contains a Muncie Reds official scorebook (1950) and other miscellaneous documents. PSC.138 includes photographs of Temple-Beth El and Lou Costello. F.010 includes a 16mm film of the B nai B rith Fraternity New Year's Eve Party.
