1 THE CITY OF LAKE FOREST ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE CITY OF LAKE FOREST WHEREAS, The City has established various fees and charges as part of its codes, ordinances, rules, regulations, and policies, which fees and charges are reviewed from time-to-time; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed such fees and charges, and hereby determines that it is necessary to adjust certain existing fees and charges, and/or to establish formally other fees and charges; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the City and its residents to adopt this Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE FOREST, COUNTY OF LAKE, STATE OF ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION ONE: Recitals. The foregoing recitals are incorporated as the findings of the City Council and are hereby incorporated into and made a part of this Ordinance. SECTION TWO: Approval of Fee Schedule. The City Council hereby approves the fee schedule set forth in Exhibit A ( Fee Schedule ). To the extent any provision of any code, ordinance, regulation, rule, or policy of the City is 18

2 contrary to the Fee Schedule, such provision is hereby deemed amended so that the Fee Schedule shall control. Any fee or charge not otherwise listed on the Fee Schedule shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. SECTION THREE: Effective Date of Fee Schedule. The fees and charges set forth on the Fee Schedule shall take effect as of the date noted on the Fee Schedule. To the extent that any fees or charges were imposed consistent with the Fee Schedule prior to the effective date of this Ordinance as set forth in Section Four hereof, such fees and charges so imposed are hereby approved and ratified. SECTION FOUR: Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
