8 Directions Take the A9 north from Inverness, across the Kessock Bridge towards Wick. Stay on the A9 for about 30 miles, past the towns of Evanton, Alness and Invergordon until you reach the roundabout signposted for Balintore and Nigg on road B9175. Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout, then turn left at the sign for Hill of Fearn and then left on the B9165 when it turns off the Balintore road.
