16 HOW TO DETERMINE USE YEAR & BANKING GUIDELINES Use Year: March 1 February 28 April 1 - March 31 May 1 - April 30 June 1 - May 31 July 1 - June 30 August 1 - July 31 September 1 August 31 October 1 September 30 November 1 October 31 December 1 November 30 January 1 December 31 February 1 January 31 Banking Deadline: 31-Oct 30-Nov 31-Dec 31-Jan 28-Feb 31-Mar 30-Apr 31-May 30-Jun 31-Jul 31-Aug 30-Sep You may save up to 100% of your Vacation Points by Banking them from your current Use Year to utilize the following Use Year. You must Bank your Vacation Points no later than 4 months prior to your Use Year End Date. You may only Bank your Vacation Points after your Use Year begins. You are allowed one (1) Banking transaction per Use Year. You can use Banked Vacation Points to reserve accommodations, up to 12 months prior to the first night of your desired travel date. After you have Banked your Vacation Points into your next Use Year, they must be used by the end of that second Use Year, or you will lose those points. Odd or Even Use Year Owners can bank their points into the next year, and must use those points by the end of that year. 16

17 LEAD TIME MINIMUM STAY UNIT TYPE RESTRICTIONS ADVANTAGES EXAMPLES ADVANCED RESERVATION PERIOD Requests made during this period have greater opportunity for fulfillment month period in advance of the desired arrival date. 7 NIGHTS HOME RESORT RESERVATIONS RESTRICTED TO BUILDING/UNIT TYPE REFLECTED ON PURCHASE CONTRACT. Initiate exchange searches 1 year in advance from the desired travel dates. Request Home Resort reservations during high(est) demand weeks regardless of Use Year Period. Members may confirm reservations for Thanksgiving one year in advance utilizing points that will be allotted later (any annual dues will need to be prepaid to receive confirmation). Members who own mid-season weeks may confirm smaller units and/or utilize banked points to fulfill requests during high demand weeks. STANDARD RESERVATION PERIOD 6-9 month period in advance of the desired arrival date. FLEXIBLE RESERVATION PERIODS 7 NIGHTS NO RESTRICTIONS Request dates in ANY unit type at ANY Home Resort location during ANY season regardless of resort/unit type/season reflected on purchase contract. Non-Penthouse members may request Penthouse unit(s); offers alternative to members who were unable to confirm during A.R.P. (if the desired dates were not available in the unit type owned). MEMBER'S ABILITY TO BE FLEXIBLE IN DATES/LOCATIONS WILL INCREASE OPPORTUNITY FOR FULFILLMENT DURING THIS PERIOD More than 60 days but less than 6 months in advance of the last night of requested travel dates. 4-6 NIGHTS (*WEEKENDS RESTRICTED) HOME RESORT ONLY. NO UNIT TYPE RESTRICTIONS. Not restricted to confirming a full week's stay which utilizes less points. Members confirming 7-night stays have priority (because they are essentially "spending more points"). The closer it gets to desired travel dates, the option to break up stays into smaller increments becomes more flexible which maximizes occupancy of vacant units. Allows members to optimize utilization of their allotted points. Members who visit home resort several times each year may do so by breaking up usage into shorter stays. A 4-night reservation confirmed (during Prime Season) for a Sunday arrival in a Regular C unit at the Grand Crowne is worth 31,500 points and uses 24,500 less points than a 4-night reservation with a Thursday arrival (total of 56,100 points). Less than 60 days prior to the last night of requested travel dates. 2-3 NIGHTS (*WEEKENDS RESTRICTED) HOME RESORT ONLY. NO UNIT TYPE RESTRICTIONS. FLEXCHANGE Between 1-59 days in advance of desired arrival date. 7 NIGHTS ANY UNITS AVAILABLE FOR EXCHANGE THROUGH INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL. 7-night reservations available through Interval International Exchange Company for half the point value plus exchange fee; regardless of unit size, season, and location.. Members who can be flexible with travel dates and/or destinations may obtain optimum usage of allocated points using this option; i.e. members who can be flexible in their vacation plans may receive 2 full 7-night confirmations in 1, 2 or 3-Bedroom units at a total of 95,000 vacation points. *Weekend Restriction: Only one weekend reservation may be held by any member at any time. Weekend restrictions are any reservation less than 7 nights that includes a Friday and/or Saturday night stay. 17
