4 Situation The hamlet of Belluton is one mile from Pensford and two miles from Chew Magna. Pensford has a Post Office/Stores and the village of Chew Magna has a good range of facilities and include supermarket, bank, butcher, travel agents, chemist, medical practice, three public houses, church and village hall. Primary schooling in Chew Magna and Pensford. Excellent private schools at Wells Cathedral, Millfield at Street, Sidcot Quaker at Sidcot, and a choice in Bristol and Bath. The well respected Chew Valley Community School at Chew Stoke is about three miles. Sailing and fishing on Chew Valley Lake. Fishing on Blagdon Lake. Sailing on Cheddar Reservoir. Walking and riding over the Mendip Hills. Golf at Clifton & Bristol Golf Club at Failand, at Burnham on Sea and at Mendip Spring Golf Club at Churchill. Racing at Wincanton and at Bath.
