House Rules As in any well run accommodation business, over the years we have established house rules to ensure all our guests enjoy their stay. The most important house rules are that our guests remember to clean up after themselves, to get along well with their flatmates and let us know if they wish to book in a visitor to stay. We care very much about the experience of our guests, and visit the houses regularly to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Safety Not all sharehouses are created equal! We are proud that our properties are licensed and meet all industry health, safety and fire requirements. We employ a full time Maintenance Manager to keep our properties in excellent condition, and ensure our houses are fully compliant with all cyclone standards in Queensland. We also have a Cyclone Contingency Plan ready to implement if necessary. Security We regard the security of our guests to be of the highest importance. We employ a local security firm to carry out regular patrols of each apartment, and ensure that all public areas are well lit. All our houses have locks on the bedroom doors, front and exterior entrances, and security gates where appropriate. We encourage all guests to lock doors and windows as they would in their own home. Support We are available to help our guests at all times during their stay. Whilst we respect their privacy, our office is open 5 days per week so they have a place to come and chat to us face to face. Cairns Sharehouse manages share apartments in a range of properties, each designed to cater for a variety of guests. The properties are a combination of large apartment complexes and individual houses often featuring pools, spas and BBQ areas. We also have a range of luxury budget apartments which are popular with mature guests offering larger room sizes and sharing with a smaller number of guests. The Martyn Share Apartments on Martyn Street is one of our most popular accommodation complexes. It is furnished to a high standard and is our largest and most spacious share house. A modern purpose built apartment complex consisting of 6 beautiful apartments with car parking facilities, in ground resort pool, BBQ area. It has a resident care taker available for all tenants. It is the only share house to provide private balconies off each bedroom. The apartment is spacious, modern and new with designer furnishings and a fantastic location less than 200 m from the Cairns Central Shopping Centre. The Grand Draper is a large, modern apartment complex featuring 6 apartments overlooking the resort pool with sunbathing area and a large BBQ area. Perfect for those summer days. Lady Loeven is our ladies only complex. It is a fabulous modern share apartment complex consisting of 4 apartments overlooking a resort style pool, landscaped gardens with BBQ and entertaining area in a great location very close to the Cairns Central Shopping Centre. Scotts Place is a lovely two storey wooden home very close to Cairns Central Shopping Centre with a nice grassy back garden and BBQ area. Most single rooms in this house feature double beds. The Queenslander Draper 2 The Lumley The Cottages The Queenslander is one of our most popular budget luxury homes, designed for those who enjoy sharing but with a touch of luxury. The Queensland is a gorgeous 5 bedroom Queensland style wooden home with high ceilings, shutters and polished floors. Draper 2 is one of the newest additions to Cairns Share house. This newly renovated share house features two apartments and a large backyard with a great outdoor dining area and BBQ. The Lumley is a lovely 2 storey cottage style home with 2 apartments.
