This Luxury ski-in/ski-out is the anchor of the new Purgatory Village featuring upgraded skier services and a new Purgy s Day Lodge. Purgatory Lodge units range from 2 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms. All units in Purgatory Lodge have unparallel views of the ski area, Needles Mountains or Purgatory Village. One Bedroom Loft (sleeps 6) One private bedroom upstairs with a queen size bed. This unit has a second upstairs bedroom with either a queen bed or two twin beds. The upstairs level has ¾ bath. The main floor has a living area with a sleeper sofa, dining room, full kitchen, full bath, fireplace and balcony. Two Bedroom Condo (sleeps 8) Two private bedrooms with one king or queen size bed in each bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa. These units all have one of the following: A queen bed with a partition & another queen sleeper sofa, a queen bed with a partition & one set of bunk beds, a trundle bed, or just a trundle bed. These units all have two full baths, fully equipped kitchens, a fireplace and private deck. Three Bedroom Condo (sleeps 10) Sleeping accommodations for ten people. 3 Cascade Village **Located just 2 miles north of DMR s main entrance, Cascade has a large selection of vacation rentals and lodging accommodations from a studio for two to a single family home in the valley over looking Engineer mountain, all with wood burning fireplaces for mountain rustic comfort. Spectacular Mountain views, and many great amenities which includes a game room, indoor pool, guest laundromat, and free parking. Tax rate is 18%. Nugget Studio (sleeps 2) 400 SQ FT - Nugget Studio units have a queen bed in each unit. These units have galley style kitchens, a fireplace, and a Jacuzzi tub. 4 The Lodge at Tamarron **Located seven miles south of Purgatory Resort. As of September 1st 2007, The Lodge at Tamarron has completed a million and a half dollar renovation to the common areas of the Lodge! The Lodge at Tamarron offers charming condominiums on a large resort property approximately 15 miles from downtown Durango, CO. This expansive property offers myriad indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities. If your visit falls during ski season, the Purgatory Resort, Purgatory, and Silverton ski areas are just eight miles from the property. Whatever the time of year, enjoy an indoor/outdoor pool with cliff views, two whirlpools, asauna, full service health club, and a variety of massage and spa treatments. Cantilever House- (Sleeps 10) Featured in Mountain Living Magazine, this beautiful, multiple award-winning, four-story home is 4,300 sq. ft., and is complete with an elevator. Perched above the ski resort, it cantilevers 22 feet out over a 75-foot rock shelf that provides unobstructed views of the beautiful Needles Mountain Range. This masterpiece of a home is located just a few hundred yards away from Purgatory Lodge and all the activities of the base area of Purgatory Resort. A five-minute walk or take a complimentary shuttle ride to the Village Plaza or Purgatory Lodge, where you ll enjoy the fitness center, day spa, heated outdoor pool, Jacuzzi tub, private lounge and game room, as well as complimentary continental breakfast at the Durango Mountain Club. It also has a separate office with trundle beds. Group Types Group Block: Group leader reserves total number of rooms needed and is responsible for deposits for all rooms with one form of payment. A group rooming list must be submitted two weeks prior to arrival. Extra amenities are the only items that can be paid for by the individual. Any groupdiscounted activities will be booked in this manner. Individual Call In: Group leader contracts discounted lodging rates and date range for the individual group members. Individual guests are responsible for making their own reservation under the group name. All reservations are based on availability. No rooms are blocked, but group rates are offered as long as the group guarantees a minimum of 5 or more rooms and makes their reservation 30 days prior to the group s arrival. Individuals are responsible for the deposit and full payment. Deposit and Cancellation Policy: Group Block: A $100 per room deposit is due at the time of booking. The deposit must be given to the Group Sales Manager with the signed contract. The final balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Individual Call In: One night deposit is due at time of booking; the remaining balance will be collected at check in. Cancellations made 24 hours prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival forfeit their original deposit. Group leader is responsible for making sure the group will reach the minimum room total to receive the group rates. Cancellation: By booking a group block Durango Mountain Properties will remove your groups reserved rooms from the general marketplace. Accordingly, cancellation of your group booking is subject to the liquidation damages schedule as set forth in your contract and includes payment on all rooms reserved from the first arrival date to last departure date. No refunds are given for early departures, late arrivals or no shows. SKI & SNOWBOARD SCHOOL Enjoy your vacation more by learning from the pros. 6 MOUNTAIN CARDS Mountain cards can be purchased for group members in $10 increments. Mountain cards work just like a debit card at all Purgatory Resort retail shops and restaurants.
