19 THE LAND To the east and west of the house are productive riverside pasture meadows. There are two blocks of woodlands, all hardwood. The principal area of woodland forms the backdrop of the view from the house and is surmounted by a Victorian stone Folly from which a former owner is said to have surveyed his estate. There is a derelict cottage in the wood adjoining the by-road. THE FISHING The property owns the fishing rights in the River Cych where it is contiguous with its Freehold ownership. There is about ¾of a mile of single bank of which about 300 yards is double bank. A tributary of the Teifi this river provides brown trout fishing with a run of sea trout and salmon late in the season. Available as a separate lot: COACH HOUSE AND STABLE COMPLEX There is a splendid Coach house and Stable complex, probably Georgian and built in an attractive local stone. Follow this road along the side of the river for about a mile and Lancych will be seen on the left hand side.
