1 Mass CSV file Enrolment Submission Instructions Note: Use this option if you are entering large numbers of enrolments at the same time or for the same project (i.e. condo enrolments) 1. Select Submit Enrolments Online from the Enrolments menu (Note: access is restricted to users with Manage/Submit Enrolments permission) 2. Select Vendor No. and Builder No. (if different) from drop-down list, click Next. (Note: Only one (1) Vendor and one (1) Builder permitted per CSV file) 3. Review the Terms and Conditions for enrolment limits, select Via upload CSV file from the 'How do you wish to submit enrolments?' drop-down, click Next April 2018 Page 1 of 8

2 4. Download the template provided by clicking the hyperlink (depending on your browser you may be required to select 'Open') 5. Input enrolment details into (Note: DO NOT MODIFY TEMPLATE), if you copy paste information from an existing file on your computer or system, ensure you paste 'values' only (Tip: See required data and input criteria in Appendix A) April 2018 Page 2 of 8

3 6. Once the enrolment data has been entered for each enrolment, save the file in an easily accessible location on your computer for uploading into BuilderLink. IMPORTANT: You must convert the Excel template into CSV file in order to upload (File>Save As): 7. On the Upload Enrolment Data screen, click Browse/Choose File to locate and select the saved.csv file April 2018 Page 3 of 8

Once the file name appears, Click Upload Note: If file contains errors: Your submission contained errors message is displayed and with details of the errors sent to submitting user and BuilderLink Administrator (if different). Files with even one (1) error will cause the entire submission to fail - errors must be corrected and file re-uploaded 9. Successful upload will display the Enrolment Fee page, click Submit 10. Online Enrolment Submission Summary will be displayed, the number of enrolments, total fees and any security required will be displayed as well as a summary of the enrolments: April 2018 Page 4 of 8

5 a. If paying by cheque, click Print to print two (2) copies of the Enrolment Submission Summary and submit one copy to Tarion along with Enrolment Fee/Security immediately make cheque payable to: Tarion Warranty Corporation and send to 5160 Yonge St., 12th Floor, Toronto ON M2N 6L9 b. If paying by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), first click Print to keep a copy for your records then click Pay Now. Select which account to use for payment from drop-down list and click Submit EFT Payment Request. (Note: Pay Now option will only be available to users with EFT Payment permission. In order to use this feature, an EFT Agreement must first be created by a Payment Administrator.) EFT Payment Request confirmation displayed.
