11 Further Info Getting to Howe Top House From Penrith, head south on the A6 passing through Eamont Bridge and take the left hand turn signed for Cliburn and Bolton. Stay on this road for about 5 miles, passing through Cliburn. Take the next right hand turn signposted to Kings Meaburn. On leaving Kings Meaburn, fork right for Maulds Meaburn. In the village of Maulds Meaburn, keep straight on and up the incline, passing the village hall on the right; a little further on there is a lane to the right and Howe Top House is up this lane.
