1 This list provides the names of apartment complexes that are familiar with the Housing Choice Voucher program and will accept Section 8 vouchers. Rent amounts are updated each calendar year. Inclusion on this list does not necessarily mean that there is a current vacancy at that property. Please contact the number listed for availability and further information. Inform the owner/manager if you have a Section 8 voucher. When a unit has been chosen, provide the owner/manager with a Landlord Handbook and request that they complete their part of the paperwork as soon as possible. Belmont Housing Resources does not endorse any particular listing, properties have been included at the owner's request. PLEASE NOTE: Central Erie County * Complexes are listed alphabetically by city then by zip code. * Further information on each listing can be found in the Section 8-Friendly Catalog located at each office location. * Rental units located in areas defined by the U.S. Census Bureau as high poverty areas are maked with (*). HUD requires the housing agency to encourage voucher holders to locate housing outside of areas that have a high percentage of families living at or below poverty level. * Properties listed have not been inspected by Belmont Shelter and will have to pass inspection prior to rental assistance approval.
